Volk’s Railway is now closed until Easter 2026
Please be aware that trains may operate during the closed period for maintenance or testing purposes. When the trains are running the live rail will be energised. To ensure your safety and the safety of your pets or children please ensure you do not walk along the line at any time.
It’s not generally known that Santa pays a pre-christmas visit to Brighton every year. Having parked his sleigh his favourite place to spend a few hours is Volk’s Electric Railway, and there is nothing he likes more than seeing some of his young friends while he is at the Aquarium Station.
So, if you are free on December 13th why not treat yourselves to tickets on the Santa Express. On arrival each child will be given an activity to enjoy, whilst they wait to be called to meet Santa. The family will then have a private meeting with Santa who will give each child age 14 and under a small gift.
Then, weather permitting there will be a festive journey in one of our heritage railcars along our beach front railway.

VERA WINTER MEETINGS 2025 - 2026
All Winter Meetings are held at The Patcham Community Centre, Ladies Mile Road, Patcham, BN1 8TA.
Doors open at 7pm and talks start promptly at 7.30pm. Admission is free to all but a donation towards the cost of running the evening would be appreciated. There is an interval for refreshments midway through the evening.
